Apprenticeships and Traineeships
Our Institute provides opportunity for those people employed as an apprentices. Our programs are structured to accomplish flexibility.
Apprentices will be able to combine work practices with theory in classrooms to enable them to gain the underpinning knowledge and build on their skills and techniques provided by their salon environment.
Our Institute works very closely with the employer, and their apprentice. We create the training plan to accommodate the employer expectation. We monitor apprentice progress and discuss the program outline to ensure the success of all apprentice.
Apprenticeships can be undertaken by candidates who are still in secondary school. It can be either school based apprenticeship or an out of school apprenticeship. Students who undertake an apprenticeship out of school during year 10, 11 or 12, can transfer their results towards SACE.

School-based apprenticeships (ASbAs)
If you're in Year 10, 11 or 12, you can start an Australian school-based apprenticeship or traineeship
Students are able to study at our Institute as part of SACE—VET in school programme. Students are able to study certificate III level qualifications while completing their secondary studies.
To be involve into this programs it is important that Adelaide Institute of Hair & Beauty and the secondary school sign an agreement.
Once an agreement with the secondary school has been implemented, our Institute will endorses the Training Plan and have the school principle sign indicating the ASbA is an integral part of the school curriculum, confirming that the student is in year 10, 11 or 12 and undertaking SACE.
